Wanted Fugitive: Kamanakai Kaahu
May 25, 2020

STATUS: ARRESTED

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Kamanakai Kaahu who is wanted for a $20,000 cash only warrant for Failure to Comply with the Terms and Conditions of HOPE Probation.

 

On March 4, 2015, at about 3:46 p.m., a male entered an ABC store on Kalakaua Avenue and selected various items. The male then exited the store without making payment for the items. When an employee of the store tried to stop the male, the male threatened the employee then used physical force against him. Police were notified and were able to locate the male nearby. The male, who was identified as Kamanakai Kaahu, was subsequently placed under arrest for Robbery in the Second Degree.

 

Kaahu has one prior conviction and is known to frequent the Waipahu area.

Wanted Fugitive: Paul Rodriguez
May 16, 2020

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Paul Rodriguez who is wanted for a $20,000 Cash Only Bench Warrant for Failure to Comply with the Terms and Conditions of Probation.

 

On November 21, 2017 at about 9:45 p.m., the victim was on the city bus in the Waialae area when a male passenger offered her money for sex. The victim refused the males offer and got off the bus. As the victim was walking down Waialae Avenue, she was grabbed from behind and forced under a bus shelter where a male attempted to sexually assault her. The victim observed that the suspect was the same male that had been propositioning her in the bus. The victim was able to escape and call for police. Through the investigation, the suspect was identified as Paul Rodriguez. He was later located and placed under arrest for Attempted Sexual Assault in the Third Degree.

 

Rodriguez has 6 prior convictions and has no known local address.

Wanted Fugitive: Hyung Ngo
May 11, 2020

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Hyung Ngo who is wanted for a $25,000 bench warrant for Failure to Comply with the Terms and Conditions of Probation.

 

On January 2, 2018, at about 11:48 p.m., the complainant arrived at her home in the McCully area when she was greeted by her dog. The dog then began to bark loudly at a closet which was open in the guest bedroom. As the dog continued to bark at the closet, the complainant observed the closet door to slowly close. Police responded to the residence and was able to locate a male hiding in the closet. The male, who was identified as Hyung Ngo, was subsequently placed under arrest for Burglary in the First Degree.

 

Ngo has 12 prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.

Wanted Fugitive: Brandon Cuda
April 20, 2020

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Brandon Cuda who is wanted for a $20,000 Cash Only Bench Warrant for Failure to Comply with the Terms and Conditions of Probation.

 

On October 30, 2018 at about 3:56 a.m., the complainant received an alert on his phone that a motion sensor inside of a church in the Kailua area had been set off. The complainant watched the live feed on his phone and discovered that an unknown male and female had broken into the church. Police were responded to the scene and was able to locate both individuals inside. The male, who was identified as Brandon Cuda, was subsequently placed under arrest for Burglary in the Second Degree.

On February 10, 2016, at approximately 6:30 p.m., the victim was feeding her children at an outreach center in the Waipahu area when an intoxicated male began to argue with her. As the argument escalated, the male stabbed the victims back with a knife and fled. Witnesses were able to chase down the male and detained him until police arrived. The male, who was identified as David Kasty, was subsequently placed under arrest for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Keoni Kamahalohanuilai who is wanted for a $20,000 Cash Only Bench Warrant for Failure to Comply with the Terms and Conditions of Drug Court.

 

On July 11, 2011 at approximately 2:45 p.m., a female was involved in an argument with a male at the Waimanalo Beach Park. As the argument escalated, the male punched the female’s face. A witness driving by stopped to intervene at which time the male used a metal pipe to damage the witness’s vehicle. Another witness tried to intervene at which time the male pointed a loaded spear gun at her then pulled the trigger which narrowly missed her. Police were notified and placed the male, who was identified as Keoni Kamahalohanuilai, under arrest for Abuse of a Family or Household Member, Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree and Criminal Property Damage in the Third Degree.

On January 29, 2019 at about 4:42 a.m., an employee for the Kapolei Target store observed a male to select and conceal various items under his clothing.  The male then exited the store without making payment for the items. The employee along with a fellow employee confronted the male outside of the store at which time the male used physical force against the employees causing them to sustain injuries. The employees were able to detain the male and notify police. The male, who was identified as Donovan Calarruda, was subsequently placed under arrest for Robbery in the Second Degree.

On May 29, 2014 at about 9:00 p.m., two juvenile victims were waiting at a bus stop on California Avenue when they were approached by male who tried to start a fight with them. The male then grabbed one of the victim’s skateboard and used a taser to shock him. The male then grabbed the other victim’s skateboard and walked away. Police were notified and through the investigation, the male who took the two skateboards was identified as Jeremiah Dela Cruz. He was later located and placed under arrest for two counts of Robbery in the First Degree.

 

Dela Cruz has 2 prior conviction and is known to frequent the Waianae area.

On November 27, 2018 at approximately 3:00 p.m., the two victims were involved in an argument with a male at their Moanalua area home. As the argument escalated, the male pointed a gun at both victims and threatened to shoot them. Police were notified and placed the male, later identified as Gilbert Chock, under arrest for Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree and Place to Keep Firearm.

 

Chock has 15 prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.

On April 30, 2007, the victim was at her home in the Waianae area when a male knocked at the door. When the victim opened the door, the male forced his way into the home. The male then tied the victim’s hands and sexually assaulted her then prevented her from escaping. The following day, a family member went to check on the victim at which time she was able to escape and call police. The male, who was identified as Darren Ragmat, was later located and placed under arrest for Kidnapping and Sexual Assault in the First Degree.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Shari Kamaka who is wanted for a $20,000 Bench Warrant for Failure to Comply with the Terms and Conditions of Defendant’s Probation Supervision.

 

On April 4, 2015 at about 7:00 a.m., the victim was sitting at the McDonalds in Kapolei when a male grabbed her purse and fled to an awaiting van. The victim chased after the male and was able to get into the van which was being driven by a female driver. The male then kicked the victim out of the van as it was being driven away causing the victim to sustain multiple injuries. Police were notified and through the investigation, the female driver was identified as Shari Kamaka. She was later located and placed under arrest for Robbery in the Second Degree.

February 08, 2020

STATUS: ARRESTED

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Derek Aki who is wanted for a $25,000 Bench Warrant for Failure to Comply with the Terms and Conditions of Supervised Release.

 

On July 1, 2019 at about 4:00 p.m., a witness observed two males carrying items out of his neighbor’s home in the Manoa area. The witness confronted the males and notified police and the home owner. The home owner arrived on scene and informed the officers that he did not know the males and that the items they were carrying were taken from within his home. One of the males, who was identified as Derek Aki, was subsequently placed under arrest for Burglary in the First Degree. While Aki was being placed under arrest, officers recovered a clear packet of crystal methamphetamine from his hands. Aki was then also placed under arrest for Promoting a Dangerous Drug in the Third Degree.

 

Aki has 13 prior convictions and is known to frequent the Wahiawa area.

On July 19, 2017, at approximately 8:00 a.m., a male entered the Tamura’s Store in Waianae and tried to purchase some items with a $20.00 bill. The cashier examined the bill and noticed that the bill was obviously fake and informed the male. The male began to argue with the cashier at which time the police were notified. Upon their arrival, they confirmed that the bill was a counterfeit and placed the male, who was identified as Richard Avilla, under arrest for Forgery in the First Degree.

 

Avilla has 14 prior convictions and is known to frequent the Waianae area.

On September 8, 2018 at approximately 3:30 p.m., the victim was walking inside of Aala Park when he was confronted by a male who was carrying a machete. The male swung the machete at the victim causing him to sustain injuries.  The male later chased the victim with the machete causing him to feel threatened. Police were notified and placed the male, who was identified as Alexander Takeo, under arrest for Assault in the Second Degree and Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree.

The male, who was identified as David Majors, was subsequently placed under arrest for Burglary in the First Degree.

On September 26, 2012 at about 2:10 p.m., the victim was in her apartment in the Ala Moana area when a male began to knock on her door. The victim ran outside to her patio and tried to call 911 but the male grabbed her phone and threw it over the railing. The male then grabbed the victim causing her to sustain bruises to her arm and leg. Police were notified and through the investigation, the male was identified as Lorne Palisbo. He was later located and placed under arrest for Burglary in the First Degree.

On January 25, 2018, at about 4:25 p.m., the juvenile victim was sitting in front of the Waianae 7-11 store and counting his money. As the victim was counting his money, a male approached him from behind and placed a knife to his neck. The male then grabbed the victim’s money and fled. Police were notified and was able to locate the male nearby. The male, who was identified as Robert Kaio, was subsequently placed under arrest for Robbery in the First Degree

Wanted Fugitive: Theotis C White Jr.
November 02, 2019

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Theotis White who is wanted on a $1,000,000 Grand Jury Bench Warrant for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree.

 

On July 17, 2019 at about 2:58 p.m., the victim was driving westbound on the   H-1 Freeway near the Pali off ramp when he observed a vehicle pull alongside him. The victim then observed the driver to be holding a gun and waving it in the air. When the victim tried to get away, the driver shot at him several times causing him to sustain multiple gunshot wounds. Police were notified and through the investigation, the shooter has been identified as Theotis White. He is now wanted on a $1,000,000 Grand Jury Bench Warrant for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree.

 

White has 2 prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.

On November 24, 2014 at about 10:30 a.m., a male entered the Ewa Beach American Savings Bank and handed the teller a demand note instructing her to place the money in his bag. The male then fled with an undisclosed amount of money. Police were notified and through the investigation, the male was identified as Jose Jimenez. He was later located and placed under arrest for Robbery in the Second Degree.

 

Jimenez has 4 prior convictions and is known to frequent the Hawaii Kai, Ewa Beach and Honolulu areas.
