1/7/2017 - Wanted Fugitive: Eric PESETI

Eric Peseti who is wanted for two $20,000 cash only Probation Revocation warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of HOPE probation.

 

On September 29, 2012, at approximately 3:25 a.m. an officer travelling Makai bound on Kam IV Road observed a white van travelling in the same direction with smoke emitting from the front of the vehicle.  The officer stopped the van and observed the front bumper damaged and rubbing on the front tire causing the smoke.  The officer ran a check of the vehicle and found that it had been stolen

from a business located on Middle Street.  The driver was identified as Peseti and placed under arrest for Unauthorized Control of a Propelled Vehicle.

 

On November 2, 2015, Peseti was placed under arrest and transported to the Kalihi Police Station.  While being placed in the police blue and white vehicle for another transport to the Main Police Station, Peseti fled on foot. He was apprehended a short distant away by officers and placed under arrest for Escape in the Second Degree.

 

Peseti has ten prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.

12/24/2016 - Wanted Fugitive: Reyn AU-YOSHIMURA

Reyn Au-Yoshimura who is wanted for three $20,000 cash only Probation revocation warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of HOPE probation.

 

On May 3, 2013, Au-Yoshimura made deposits to his Bank of Hawaii account using the ATM on several occasions, and withdrew that daily amount allowed.

Through investigation the bank found that Au-Yoshimura had deposited empty envelopes. He was located and placed under arrest for Theft in the Second Degree.

 

On December 24, 2014, at approximately 7:46 p.m., a male entered the Friki Tiki Store located on Lewers Streets, selected numerous pairs of sunglasses, concealed them in his messenger bag, and fled the store without making payment.  Video surveillance was reviewed and an officer familiar with Au-Yoshimura made positive identification. AU-Yoshimura was located and placed under arrest for Theft in the Second Degree.

 

On May 4, 2015, a male entered the Friki Tiki Store located at the Ala Moana Shopping Center, removed several sunglasses, and fled the store without making payment.  He was observed on video surveillance and was positively identified as Au-Yoshimura who was located and placed under arrest for Theft in the Second Degree.

 

Au-Yoshimura has eight prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu

12/17/2016 - Wanted Fugitive: Michaela BURNS

Michaela Burns who is wanted for a $20,000 cash only Contempt warrant for failure to appear for trial call on November 22, 2016.

 

On July 31, 2016, the complainant reported that her laptop had been stolen from her hotel room at the Ilikai Hotel. Officers reviewed video surveillance and later located a female that matched the description at the Ala Wai Boat Harbor.  While speaking with the female, the officer was alerted by the victim that her laptop was pinging from 1720 Ala Moana Boulevard. The officer proceeded to the address and was talking to a resident when a female from next door the next door opened her door which allowed the officer a clear view into her apartment. The officer observed a male sitting with the laptop and heard the pinging noise emitting from the speaker and showing “Locate my Apple laptop” on the screen.  Through investigation the officers determined that the occupants in the room matched the description of the suspects in the video from the Ilikai Hotel. The female identified as Burns was placed under arrest for Burglary in the First Degree.   She has no prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.

12/10/2016 - Wanted Fugitive: James BYERS

Crime Stoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in James Byers who is wanted for$50,000 Contempt for failure to appear for Execution of Mittimus on October 6, 2016.

 

On September 23, 2015, the complainant was notified that a former employee had used the business credit card to pay for a hotel room in Waikiki. The company investigated and found that Byers had been dismissed from his job as a pay roll clerk and had charged his hotel room on the company credit card and signed the complainant’s name without authorization. Further investigation showed that money had been taken from the business during the short time that Byers was employed and only he had access to the funds.  Byers was later located and arrested for Theft in the Second Degree.

Race:          Caucasian

 Age:           39 years old

Height:       5’8”

Weight:      165 lbs.

Hair:            Brown

Eyes:           Brown

11/5/2016 - Wanted Fugitive: Adam LAI

Adam Lai who is wanted for two $20,000 cash only Probation Revocation warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of HOPE probation.

 

On April 9, 2004, at approximately 12:45 a.m., the complainant had just arrived at home and observed two males sitting in his Honda that was parked fronting his residence on Oaniani Street. Upon checking the Honda the complainant found the steering column damaged and called the police.  The males fled the area but was located nearby by officers and positively identified by the complainant. One of the males identified as Lai was placed under arrest for Attempted Unauthorized Control of a Propelled Vehicle.

 

On October 14, 2014, at approximately 10:58 p.m., an officer travelling on Farrington Highway observed a blue Honda commit several traffic violations and stopped the vehicle. Upon approaching the vehicle and speaking with the driver, the officer detected a strong odor of an intoxicant. The driver identified as Lai was given the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus Test in which he did not pass. Lai was placed under arrest for Habitually Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence of an Intoxicant due to three prior OUVII arrest.   Lai has sixteen prior convictions and is known to frequent the Waianae area.

Age:          29 years old

Weight:    195 lbs.

Hair:           Black

10/22/2016 - Wanted Fugitive: Pumehana De Cambra

Pumehana De Cambra who is wanted for a $25,000 Deferred Acceptance Revocation warrant for violating the terms and conditions of his probation.

 

 On May 11, 2012, the complainant went to her bank and found that numerous unauthorized withdrawals were made from her checking and savings account.  A police report was generated and video surveillance at the bank showed a male identified as DeCambra making withdrawals with the complainant’s credit/debit card.  DeCambra was identified as a neighbor who had helped the complainant at her home.  He was contacted by the detective, located and placed under arrest for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, Unauthorized Possession of Confidential Personal Information, Theft in the Second Degree, Identity Theft in the Second Degree, and Credit Card Theft.  He is known to frequent the Waianae area.

 Age:           37 years old

Height:       6”5”

Weight:      430 lbs.

9/24/2016 - Wanted Fugitive: Mariah AGUIRRE

Mariah Aguirre who is wanted for two $20,000 cash only Probation Revocation warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of HOPE probation.

 

On June 30, 2010, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the complainant left his apartment on Waialae Avenue and returned at 2 p.m., to find that his apartment had been burglarized and his red Mitsubishi truck was taken.

On July 7, 2010, at approximately 7:15 a.m., an officer making checks of Kualoa Beach Park observed a truck with an expired safety sticker and ran a check. He found that the vehicle had been reported stolen and conducted a traffic stop on Kahekili Highway. One of the passengers in the vehicle was identified as Aguirre and placed under arrest for Burglary in the First Degree, Promoting a Dangerous Drug in the Third Degree, Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia, and Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle. She was subsequently arrested for Theft in the Second Degree when an Ipad and a receipt with the complainant’s credit card was found on her person. She has two prior convictions and is known to frequent the Haleiwa area.

9/17/2016 - Watned Fugitive: Alezandra PACLIB

Alezandra Paclib who is wanted for a $20,000 cash only Probation Revocation warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of HOPE probation.

 

On July 25, 2012, at approximately 2 p.m., the complainant left her residence on Victoria Street and returned at 4 p.m., to find that it had been burglarized. The complainant along with a police officer reviewed the surveillance video from the building and one of the suspects was recognized and identified as Paclib. She was located on September 25, 2012, and placed under arrest for Burglary in the First Degree.  Paclib has twenty four prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.

 

Suspect:   Alezandra Paclib

Race:        Filipino

 Age:          49 years old

Height:     5’6”  

Weight:    168 lbs.

Hair:      Brown

Eyes:     Brown

9/10/2016 - Wanted Fugitive: Kenneth WEBSTER

Kenneth Webster who is wanted for two $100,000 aggregate Contempt warrants for failure to appear for Trial Call on

August 16, 2016, and September 6, 2016.

 

On June 24, 2016, at approximately 12:25 p.m., a male entered the Maui Diver’s Store located in the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, produced a credit card and driver’s license in the name of John Long and made a  purchase. Long returned to Maui Diver’s at 3:00 p.m., to make another purchase that was flagged by the credit card company.  The manager of Maui Diver’s contacted the bank where the card was issued and found that the card did not belong Long. Police were called and Long was placed under arrest for Fraudulent use of a Credit Card(2x), Unauthorized Possession of Confidential Personal Information, Identity Theft in the First Degree, and Theft in the Second Degree.

 

On July 11, 2016, a male identified as Webster checked into the Waikiki Outrigger Hotel using an Outrigger Resorts credit card authorization form. On July 13, 2016, the hotel was contacted by the credit card company that the credit card was used fraudulently.  Webster was located in his hotel room, positively identified and placed under arrest for Identity Theft in the Second Degree, Theft in the Second Degree, Unauthorized Control of a Propelled Vehicle, and Forgery in the Second Degree.

 Age:           34 years old

Height:       5’10’

Weight:      210 lbs.

Hair:       Black

7/9/2016 - Wanted Fugitive: Leighton KANAE

Leighton Kane who is wanted for a $20,000 cash only Probation Revocation warrant for failure to appear for a hearing on Motion for Modification of the terms and conditions of his probation on May 27, 2016.

 

On December 20, 2012, at approximately 12:30 p.m., an officer driving on Kinau Street observed a male holding a pair of wire cutters and a coat hanger while attempting to make entry into the driver’s side door of a parked Toyota Tacoma.  As the officer stopped to confront the male, he fled into a nearby apartment building. The officer was able to locate the male as he entered one of the apartments and identified him as Kanae.  The officer ran a check of the Tacoma and found that it was an outstanding stolen vehicle and placed Kanae under arrest for Attempted Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree.

 

He has twenty prior convictions and is known to frequent Honolulu, and Maui.
